Chapter 6

 Forrest spent 2 months in the hospital, after five weeks his leg felt much better.

After some time a person came and told him that he was going to meet the president of the United States of America, He wanted to give her a medal for being very brave.

Arrived in Washington with the Colonel, arrived at the hotel and went downstairs for a drink.

The next morning they went to the white house, when they arrived they could see a large and beautiful garden, the army was there with the president, they read something and gave the medal to Gump, then they invited him to breakfast.

After breakfast, they went out into the garden to continue their conversation, and out of nowhere they had their pictures taken for the newspaper.

I found this chapter interesting, I liked the recognition of Gump but nobody talked about those soldiers of the army that fell... Well it was a good chapter and I really like the story.
